Eloise (Brantley) Eason

Eloise Brantley Eason, 79, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, August 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside service will be at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60+ years Bobby Lee Eason; two loving parents, Hazel Agnes Jones Brantley and Jesse Brantley Sr.; two loving brothers, Harvey Brantley and Jesse Brantley Jr.; special sister-in-law, Janie Brantley; and beloved grandson, Lee Harrell.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, her two daughters, Pennie Eason and Debbie Eason; two beautiful granddaughters, Scarlett Marks and Brandi Harrell; a beautiful great granddaughter, Neveaeh Lei Proctor; two brothers, Pete Brantley and wife Faye, and Jay Brantley and wife Janie; two brothers-in-law, Russell Eason and wife Connie, and Ray Eason; adopted son, Steve Pittman and wife Bonnie; along with a host of friends and family too numerous to name.

She was a wonderful person to all she knew. To her girls she was Mama/ Mema/ Meme. Just as her husband she was a teacher and healer of hearts. She was beloved by all who knew her and even those that had just met her. They say when two people get married two hearts become one. Now as we grieve Mama/ Mema/ Meme, we are comforted in the knowledge that two hearts separated for only a short time have now become one again.

Visitation will be at 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 21,2022, at Carlisle Funeral Home.
