Ezequiel Mosso Castizo

Ezequiel Mosso Castizo, age 28, passed away on Monday, May 1st, 2023. Ezequiel was born in a small town in Mexico but was raised in an even smaller town in Eastern North Carolina. And even though small, Ezequiel’s presence made it large and grand. His legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone who's had the pleasure to meet him. His love lives on in the hearts of his parents, Angelina and Esteban Mosso, and siblings Jose, Estevan and Maria.

Ezequiel was always goal driven by his passions. His main, being his family and friends, and second being his love for all thing’s country and outdoors. He was the kind of person you wanted to be around. He was quick witted, adventurous, and loved all things with an engine and wheels. Being a mechanical engineer, his favorite hobby was buying something old and making it new. Each purchase brought on a challenge full of excitement and joy.

A visitation for Ezequiel will be held on Monday, May 8th, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM Tuesday morning. Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon on Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond St, Rocky Mount, NC. 

Ezequiel was the kind of person you could depend on in any situation. He was as generous with his love as he was with his time. He never said no to anyone who asked for his assistance. The definition of hard working has Ezequiel's picture next to it.  He was the only guy you knew who would work seven days a week and not only never complained about it but come over to your house and lend a helping hand. He always demonstrated a high level of patience, which he shared with us all.

Ezequiel loved to live life. He could never stay still for too long. If he wasn’t working, you could always find him outside grilling steaks, getting knee deep in the mud riding his four-wheelers or playing with his dog Puppers. And no matter what he was doing, he always had the biggest smile on his face, a smile you could never say no to.

A person like Ezequiel is rare to come across, one that is so generous, exceptional, and kindhearted. His charm, patience and talents are like no other. You could always find him in good spirits, full of smiles laugher, and ALWAYS willing to give a helping hand. A son, brother, friend like him is what everyone needs.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, May 8th, 2023 at Carlisle Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM Tuesday morning. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon on Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 331 Hammond St., Rocky Mount, NC.
