We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Jesse Allen Andrews, Jr on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Carlisle Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Allen was born in Nash County on January 5, 1978. He was preceded in death by his Nana, Pauline Barfield and grandfather, William Barfield; grandparents, Pearlie and Jesse Linwood Andrews.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 15 years, Amanda Rawls Andrews; mother Jean Keel (Bennie); sisters Deborah Winslow (Frankie) and Margie Burgess (David); son Brandon Foreman; father-in-law, James Rawls (Joyce); mother-in-law, Betty Sullivan (Kelvin); brother-in-law, Benjamin Rawls; nieces: Kim, Casey, Brittany, Amber, Tiffany; his fur-babies: Cinderella, Pumpkin and Midnight; and a numerous amount of extended family members, church family, and friends.
Allen was a hard worker, community helper, and a bold witness for Jesus. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith during his battle with cancer. He never seemed to know a stranger. We will always remember the messages he shared about the cross. He just wants to see us all in heaven one day!
The family will receive friends on Friday at Carlisle Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.
