Joe W. Harrell, Jr., 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
He was born in Edgecombe County on January 15, 1932. He was a dedicated farmer. After his days of farming he took up gardening and had a huge garden that he loved to work in. Joe took care of his mother and loved his family.
He was predeceased by his brothers Jack, Porter, Joseph Henry, Sidney, and Allen.
Joe is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Macclesfield Cemetery.
