Sandra Kay (King) Norris

Sandra Kay Norris passed away peacefully at the Wellness Center in Greenville, North Carolina, with her family by her side. She passed on Tuesday January 26th, 2021 at 6:15am at the age of 70.

Sandra was a loving wife to Charles Norris (deceased) for 25 years and a devoted and loving mother and Grandmother to Tracy Norris, and Tammy Wells, and grandchildren Christopher Rochelle, Sadie Norris, Haley Bridgers, and Brianna Bridgers, and two great-grandchildren Mason Parker, and Carson Parker, and a devoted and loving sister to her brother Joey King.  

Sandra graduated from Parkland High School in 1968, and worked at Gravely Inc. in Winston Salem, North Carolina from 1968 to 1970. While there she worked as a Material handler until 1970. Later she transitioned to Mayo Knitting Mills in Tarboro, North Carolina as a quality control Knitting Inspector; she then retired after working there for 20 years.

Sandra Kay Norris gave her all in ensuring that her family had the very best that she could offer. She always beamed with pride when she spoke of her family.

The evening viewing of Sandra Kay Norris will be held at 6pm to 8pm on January 28th, 2021 at Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro North Carolina. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on January 29th, 2021 at Edgecombe Memorial Cemetery in Tarboro, North Carolina.
