Thomas A Smith, Sr 66, passed away on July 11th, 2020. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son, and friend. Alton was born March 26th, 1954 in Edgecombe County to Virginia and J.T. Smith where he lived his entire life.
He worked for many years as a commercial and delivery truck driver. Many people knew him as the milkman when he drove trucks for Coble Dairy and Flav-O-Rich milk companies. A big hearted caring individual that would give anyone help when they needed it.

He was the type of person, no matter where he would go, would run into multiple friends or family.
