Della was a dear friend, and came into the Senior Ladies Sunday School while I was teaching it. I had known her all my life as we grew up together, less than a mile apart in the Saint Lewis Community near Pinetops, but we became very close friends during those Sunday School years. I enjoyed visiting with her in Tarboro during the last few years, and will miss her.
