My heart goes out to Bennie's family, especially to you, Bonnie Lynn, my THS classmate. I know you are hurting and missing him tremendously, but rejoicing that he is no longer sick and in pain. I have good memories of Bennie when my family lived in Conetoe and near Old Sparta. Prayers for all the family.

I have such fond memories of the time I spent on your farm. Mr. Whitehurst taught me so much and I’ll forever be grateful for his wisdom and guidance. I am so sad to hear his passing. He was a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
